Workers' compensation · FL · TX · GA

Commercial insurance for businesses that do physical work.

Crews, trucks, payroll, hazard classes. If your people work at height, run chainsaws or frame houses, the instant-quote sites quietly decline you. Anvil is built for exactly that work.

What Anvil is

Anvil is a lead-generation and referral service for commercial insurance. You answer one intake about your crew, your payroll and where you work; we route it to licensed agents who write your class of work. We are not a carrier or an agency, and we never quote a premium.

Pick your trade and state

Every page below is a real answer to a real question: when your state actually requires workers' compensation, which class codes carry your payroll, and what an underwriter will ask before anyone gives you a number.

How it works

01

One intake

Trade, state, head count, payroll band, loss history. Three minutes, in plain language, no insurance jargon.

02

Routed, not blasted

Your details go to licensed agents who actually write your class codes — not to whoever paid the most for a generic small-business lead.

03

They quote, we don't

A licensed agent gives you the number and the coverage advice. That line exists for your protection as much as ours.

Why the instant-quote sites don't work for you

Type "roofing insurance" into a search engine and you will find a dozen platforms promising coverage in minutes from $29 a month. Then you tick the box that says your crew works at height, and the flow quietly ends. High-hazard construction codes — 5551 roofing, 0106 tree work, commercial framing — sit outside most of their appetite by design.

Anvil starts from the opposite assumption: that hazard is the business. We ask the questions underwriters actually ask, once, and put the answers in front of people who write these codes every day.

Reference material we maintain

Every legal statement on this site cites a primary source — the state statute, the administrative rule, or the state agency's own publication. If we cannot cite it, we do not claim it.

Common questions

What does Anvil do?

Anvil is a lead-generation and referral service for commercial insurance. You answer one intake about your crew, your payroll and where you work, and we route it to licensed agents who write your class of work. Anvil is not a carrier or an agency: we do not quote premiums, name carriers, or bind coverage.

Which trades does Anvil serve?

Anvil serves businesses that do physical work — crews, trucks, payroll and hazard classes. Roofing (class code 5551), carpentry and framing (5645 and 5403) and tree service (0106 and 0042) are live today, in Florida, Texas and Georgia.

Does Anvil tell me what my insurance will cost?

No. We deliberately do not publish or quote premiums. Pricing depends on your class codes, payroll, loss history and experience modifier, and only a licensed agent working with a carrier can give you a real number.

Which states does Anvil not serve?

Ohio, North Dakota, Washington and Wyoming. In those four states workers' compensation is bought from a state fund rather than a private carrier, so there is nothing for an agent to place.
